Profile Bio

Biography – Verity Morris
Verity studied clarinet at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music in London. She has been a member of numerous orchestras and chamber music groups including the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, Welsh National Opera, The Welsh Sinfonia and PM Contemporary Music Ensemble.

Biography – Harry Heppingstall
From the early sixties Harry played in many Leicestershire jazz and rock bands, and later toured with Del Shannon. He has shared the stage with Little Richard, Stevie Wonder, David Bowie, Van Morrison and many more.
He has always had a great interest in African, South American and Cuban rhythms, and has attended master classes with leading percussionists. He is an expert in Latin rhythm

Biography – Neville Cooper
Neville studied at The Welsh College of Music. He has been performing Latin, Jazz and Classical music with a variety of music groups for many years. He is a published composer and has produced a number of CDs. His music has also been performed by leading instrumentalists in England and America

Discover South American Music

Los Amigos, a Classical Guitar, Clarinet and Percussion trio, take you on a foot tapping, scintillating and enlightening musical journey through the music of South America. Including dances such as the Tango, Rumba, Mambo and Samba , you will experience live performances of many rhythmic and engaging dance styles. The story behind each dance style is explained with many humorous anecdotes. Not to be missed.
